I am happy to change what is needed to make the sailing as smooth as possible. This is a learning process for me… I’m a clinician by trade, not a webmaster… so I’m still getting my sea legs on this new membership system and integration with the website. Help me out by letting me know what is working for you and what isn’t!
As of Sunday evening, March 24, Our new navigation and Directory is now Live!
Let’s weigh anchor and set sail!
I’d suggest starting your journey with the Introduction & Benefits page, so that you can get a sense for which Membership Level works best for you and what the levels have to offer.
If you want to be listed in the new Directory, you will want to choose the Active Level Membership.

Some items of note for Old Directory Members:
As an Old Directory member, you will have received an email with the link to this page, as well as an invitation to use a code for some amount off of your membership.
For those who have been with me for over a year and choose to set up an Active Level Membership, the code is to thank you for your ongoing support!
For those of you who have been along for the ride for less than a year, the code is to prorate the amount that you offered at that time towards this year’s membership at either the Active or Basic level.
Let me know if you need me to resend your code.
To see your new Directory profile once you’ve finished it, go to the New Directory page.
To change something on your Profile after you have created it, go to Manage Account. Make the changes you want. and then refresh the New Directory page to see the new edits you have added.
I won’t be doing individual redirects from your old profile to your new one, but I will be doing a general redirect. So if you have given anyone your old link and they use it, they will still land on the directory page… just not on your specific profile.
(That said….if it is really really important to you to have your specific old directory link redirected to your new Directory Profile, please let me know. I’m not sure if it will work because of the way the Old Directory system through Community Box is set up, but I’m willing to try and figure it out if needed on a case by case basis).
To get your new Directory Profile url, simply go copy/paste the url in the address window from your Directory Profile page.
Your old directory listing is no longer attached to the Navigation. If you want to see the Old Directory in order to copy/paste easily to your new profile, here is the link to the Old Directory. I will cancel the Old Directory Community Box account around April 25th, so after that point the Old Directory will no longer exist.
For the stowaways…
We are now Live! Simply go to Introduction & Benefits to check out the Membership Levels or Sign Up to create your account.
If you want to be listed in the new Directory, you will want to choose the Active Level Membership. There is also a Basic Level and a First Year Introductory Level The First Year level is especially intended for folks who have been a part of the HFHPN email group for less than a year. The Basic Level is for folks who want to support the site and be on the HFHPN email group, and nothing else. You can read all about the levels in the Introduction & Benefits page, linked above.
Captain’s log
As of March 24th, the Directory and Membership program is now fully Live! While I will keep this post available through the end of April, I do not anticipate making any more updates on this page.
As of March 30th… I was wrong. I changed a few details, added a link to the Old Directory, but the main portion is still the same. Now, from this point on, no more changes! Really!!!
